Position:Technical Proposal Writer

FT/PT Status: Full-Time Employment

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.

Overview:

The Technical Proposal Writer will support Kreative Technologies’ business development team with a focus on coordinating, developing, and delivering high-quality proposals, RFI responses, capability statements, and other related documents. This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Engages with Business Development Leads, Capture Leads, Proposal Managers Leads solution teams, and other proposal team members to facilitate articulation of win strategies, key strengths, and content planning.

• Works closely with technical and functional experts to develop technical responses, including issuing data calls and conducting interviews.

• Produces evidence-based, compelling content that clearly positions firm’s strengths, discriminators, and customer benefits to align with evaluation criteria and achieve higher evaluations from the client.

• Infuses win strategies, key strengths, and customer mission into common frameworks for management, transition, and other repeatable content.

• Provides end-to-end writing support for proposals to ensure delivery of a well-written, compelling, and compliant response.

• Researches, writes, and organizes information in a professional and credible manner.

• Substantively edits others’ narrative to streamline prose, improve focus, sharpen structure, and reduce word count (one-voice or technical edit).

• Develops a solid understanding of our business, solutions, and technology vision and clearly conveys our position to other stakeholders.

• Edits and revises proposals according to feedback.

• Works with the design team to create graphics and visuals for projects.

Education/Skills/ Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in journalism, Communications, English, or a related field

• 2-4 years of experience in technical and/or proposal writing

• Must have the ability to read and interpret Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Solicitations.

• Strong working knowledge of word processing software.

• Excellent computer and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines.
