Job Description
Custom is seeking a highly qualified Technical Project Manager to perform a lead role in managing the planning and delivery of projects across a high education environment. The selected Project Manager must maintain complete control on project scope, schedule, budget and risk issues. This a temporary position that will run for about 3 months. It will be onsite Monday thru Friday from 8-4. It is paying an hourly wage between $40hr-$55hr, pay will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate entire move of IT department across campus
- Create and execute project workplans and adapt to a changing environment
- Manage project budget
- Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Ensure safety and proper execution of the project
- Coordinate with clientele on a day to day basis
- Host regular status meeting with project teams
Qualifications:
- PMP strongly preferred
- 2-5 year in project management experience
- Experience with enterprise data center projects and facilities management
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
- Excellent understanding of Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices
- Bachelor’s Degree required
