Technical Project Manager - Manufacturing Test Data
We are actively seeking a talented Technical Project Manager to be the lead subject matter expert for our customer’s manufacturing data quality projects. You will have the chance to network with multiple customer teams, suppliers, engineers, as well as an internal team of experts to maximize support.
Your contribution in this role:
- Conduct root cause analysis for systemic data problems at contract manufacturing locations
- Establish best practices and standards for production and Test Data collection and management
- Conduct regular reviews of the state of the data across all contract manufacturing sites and products
- Program manage the prioritization and implementation of systematic solutions and deployment of best practices for data collection, management and reporting at contract manufacturer
- Establish and report on key performance metrics to show data quality improvements across contract manufacturers
- Manage and lead Agile/scrum meetings to help prioritize project tasks and estimate team bandwidth
- Manage procurement, schedule, logistics, and risk management for Manufacturing Test solutions and maintain alignment with program schedules
- Lead change management including ownership of documentation, communication plans, process training, etc.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
- Support sales areas as Technical Project Manager to push for complex projects and create confidence with the customer to work with Averna. This includes the creation of information to our department showing our capabilities as an engineering team including industry trends, standards and typical industry challenges to test their products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate in a few words:
Degree : A bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, industrial design, or manufacturing related field
Proficiency :
5+ years experience in Test/Manufacturing Engineering Experience
5+ years experience in project management in high-visibility, strategic areas with strong written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
2+ years of experience in data analysis and data systems
Desired Qualifications:* Experience in manufacturing quality management* Lean six sigma certified* Experience in executive level communications & presentations* Understanding of software architecture engineering and development* Experience with Agile project management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, product owners, and subject matter experts
Manages and appropriately escalates delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the product development initiatives
Ability to work with engineers from hardware, system, and software disciplines
Experience in managing suppliers and partners in implementing test requirements
Knowledge in the integration of test platforms and industrial automation
Strong ownership of responsibilities and skilled at escalating issues when necessary
High fluency in English written & spoken
Mobility : May have to travel up to 5% of the time, or when required by our customer
Schedule : Flexible schedule and location - able to support the customer’s working hours located in Pacific time zone and the contract manufacturers in Asia GMT+6 to GMT+9
