Job Description:

Arrow ECS IT department is looking for a Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in Datawarehouse and BI solutions. This position will be responsible for end to end project execution, Discovery, Development of Requirements based on high level business statements, propose solutions and take recommendations to fruition. This position will also be responsible for setting direction for team members for successful project delivery. This position will report directly into the North America BI leader.

What You'll Be doing:

• Responsible for developing and executing activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and budget and resource estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. They proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables through all project phases. Projects include cross functional, cross geographic and more complex projects. Development of collaborative project plans delivery schedules.
• Managing project resources in a cross-functional global environment.
• Drive discussions with North America ECS business leaders with regards to their business requirements
• Clearly explain solution options and recommendations
• Communicate effectively in difficult and/or ambiguous situations
• Be motivated by challenges and also be able to motivate team members to look at challenges as opportunities
• Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management
• Manage and mitigate project risks
• Assist with the design and development of applications, working with IT Business Analysts and development team.
• Technical support for testing, production issues & implementation
• Work independently; receives minimal guidance
• Typically resolve complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist

What We Are Looking For:

• 7+ years in Technical Project Management
• In-depth experience in BI and Data warehouse architectures
• Knowledge of technologies like Oracle database, Oracle OBIEE, Microsoft Azure Synapse, Golden Gate, Informatica ETL, Power BI
• Experience in design and development of Data warehouse and BI solutions
• Experience managing large Data warehouse solution development and deployment
• General Sql skills
• Domain Knowledge in Distribution

 
In addition, this candidate should be experienced in Agile methodology and Project Management tasks. This candidate can potentially grow into a leadership role in the medium term (2 years).  

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
