Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior-level Project Manager to join our team and engage in critical projects that are currently underway, or on our immediate project roadmap. This individual will be tasked with bringing mature project management discipline and focus to our environment, while also supporting a culture of agility, entrepreneurship, and innovation. In addition to directly managing projects, this individual will aid in broader project portfolio management activities. This will include implementing new tools and capabilities for project portfolio status reporting, project dashboards, project registration, and requirements definition.

Responsibilities:

· Work with Product Owners to prioritize project deliverables.

· Actively lead Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

· Work with team manager to set up agile methodologies adopted by the development teams.

· Manage project dimensions of resources, timelines, scope, and quality.

· Manage and keep the Scrum board in Jira based on feedback from the development team.

· Clear obstacles, bird-dog tasks, team member accountability, and escalate issues, as needed.

· Manage meeting cadence with Product Owners as needed.

· Drive broad stakeholder engagement and communications.

· Requirements gathering and translation for the development team.

· Aid with consulting with 3rd party suppliers that are engaged in projects.

Requirements:

· 7+ years’ experience as a Technical Project Manager, supporting data integration initiatives, file transmission set ups as well as creation and maintenance of SQL reports.

· Technical understanding of SQL.

· Ability to run in a challenging environment managing multiple initiatives concurrently.

· Must have a thorough understanding of and experience implementing development methodologies, including iterative development, Agile/Scrum, and structured approaches.

· Must have a strong knowledge of various projects, workspaces, and collaboration tools, such as Jira, GitHub, Smartsheet, and Teams.

· Experience with one or more integration technologies (i.e., SSIS, Boomi, etc.) is a plus.

· Experience with Reporting Tools (SSRS, Tableau).

· Experience setting up, documenting, and keeping as-is and to-be process information.

· Experience in Financial Services and regulated environments is preferred.

· Experience with financial accounting and/or Trading Platforms (i.e., Charles River Investment Management Solutions, Advent APX Portfolio Management and Accounting, etc.) is a plus.

· Experience with cloud environment development and deployment (i.e., Microsoft Azure, SaaS, etc.) is preferred.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver technical presentations to technical and non-technical staff, and communicating with executive and operational management.

Preferred Certifications:

· Project Management Professional (PMP)

· Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)

· Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Education:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $73.00 per hour
