Technical Engineer-Components and Wiring Harnesses
KBR is looking for an experienced Wire Harness or Component Installation Engineer to provide on-site Production Modification Engineering Support to the UH-60V Program at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD). The support will entail interpretation and revision of Engineering Technical drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD software packages as well as guidance to government installation teams in support of design verification and validation. The candidate must be comfortable with customer interaction and providing status to upper Engineering Management. This position will work remotely at CCAD with limited supervision.
**This is a temporary, full-time position. Duration of work is expected to be 6 months.
Required Skills:
- Must possess or be able to obtain an active secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree required, Electrical of Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 5 years of electrical installation experience on rotorcraft (preferably UH-60 Blackhawks)
- In depth knowledge of Solid Works.
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience creating, interpreting, and revising complex Engineering drawings
- Understanding of applicable Military and drawing standards (i.e. AS50881, MIL-STD-704, ASME Y14.X, etc.)
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
