We are seeking an experienced industrial automation specialist to focus on installing and supporting our mechanical solutions including our Sorters, Anytime Libraries and Lockers.
Be part of an expanding global company as we expand in the US market with our innovative Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) products targeting Library customers.
This role provides the chosen candidate with an opportunity to join a dynamic team servicing our North American customer base. We run our US IT customer service support team out of the Southlake Office providing service desk and install services to our customers.
About the Role
- Role is based in Southlake, Texas
- International Company, Australian Headquarters
- Will include domestic and international travel for one to two week installations
- Providing software support and fault diagnosis via remote access
- Providing remote technical assistance to onsite technicians
About You
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Hands on experience with industrial automation systems and safety controls or similar is required
- Technically proficient with computer networking and software deployment of control systems
- Good communication skills to train and problem solve with customers and onsite technicians
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics is a must
- Must have right to work in the United States, driver’s license and a passport
- Experience with RFID technologies would be an advantage
You will be provided with high-level training to ensure you have all the tools to assist our customers. You will learn about the emerging technology of Radio Frequency Identification and have access to our in-house Research and Development team who will share their vast knowledge of the product development cycle in an Agile environment.
With a head office located in Geelong, Australia, FE Technologies is a young dynamic company providing in-house developed high-end RFID technology for Libraries in over 200 sites in the United States. There is a requirement for travel throughout North America and at times internationally.
