We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team.

This professional will be responsible for:

· All fitting preparation: including measuring garments to determine spec compliance, visually checking the interior and exterior garment construction and trim, making sure the fit direction was followed.

· Measure garments for fittings with speed and accuracy. Pull the history, and any specific references, basic standard fit binders, etc. to prepare for the fittings as needed.

· Work with Designers on garment fittings, be able to provide feedback for appropriate corrections and documenting the issues to be corrected.

· Effectively communicate fit corrections and comments to overseas factories; able to advise fit intent, balance, and construction to factories via pattern diagrams, photos, mock ups, or directly on pattern.

· Keep organized records of template garment specification and/or construction standards and monitor all new developments for consistency

The Candidate we seek will possess:

• Ability to measure and prepare samples with accuracy before fitting
• Documents the fit results, delivers clear communication thru comment / specs / diagrams / photos and review of block patterns.
• Ability to multi task efficiently and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines; driven by deadlines with a high sense of urgency.
• Must function effectively as part of a Tech team and Design and Production Teams. Flexible to the needs of the total departments and handles other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
• College graduate with a Major in Fashion Design, Patternmaking or Technical Design
• Knowledge of Pattern making, grading and garment construction a must
• Strong communication, organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Word, Excel & Outlook

This is a temporary position that can lead to a Permanent Position.
