Key tasks and responsibilities:

Manage team allocation by ensuring that each associate has a manageable workload and reallocating resources as needed. Partner with the Sales organization in business development, RFP response. Cultivate open communication with customers, and business partners in an effort to identify opportunities to improve processes and methodologies. Coach, mentor and develop team members. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Operations leadership in order to troubleshoot and provide optimization assistance. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, market data and new product rollouts. Assist in the definition of new product development. Work out customer specifications. Identify and document market-driven needs and trends and assist their implementation into the production process. Transfer market-driven needs for cost reduction. Train Sales force. Produce benchmarking studies and white papers to educate customers and prospects on product advantages and value proposition.

 

 

Educational requirements/qualifications and experience:

  • No academic requirement.
  • The ideal candidate must have nine (9) years of experience in positions encompassing films/trays/equipment for the food packaging industry.

 

Travel requirements:

  • Requires continuous travel (70% travel) to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
