District Photo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical and Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our printing production facility in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and Facilities management.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Directs daily functions of the maintenance team
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and processes to ensure optimal performance of all equipment
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Work closely with production staff to ensure that equipment is available and functioning properly
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and cost control
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time and within budget
- Oversee facility management, including building maintenance, and other related tasks
- Possess strong electrical skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Oversight of all plant systems (electrical, fire alarm/sprinkler, plumbing, gases, compressed air, HVAC, communications networks, grounds & structure)
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies
- Work closely with production staff to provide equipment training and ensure proper use of equipment
- Responsible for maintaining adequate spare parts inventory for equipment - research parts and supplies needed, prepare purchase requisitions, and submit for approval
- Communicates closely with production and all plant support groups to ensure projects are defined accurately and executed effectively
- Any other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Significant walking, bending, standing. Physical activities including but not limited to reaching, pulling, pushing, gripping, grabbing, and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or 10 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the printing industry
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and processes
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, AC/DC drives, and PLC/NC control troubleshooting (programming experience preferred)
- Interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Qualified to operate and maintain all Maintenance Department equipment and machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Visio, CAD, or similar experience to maintain and own plant layout
