We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Miami, FL team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform construction materials testing/inspection including, but not limited to:
- Soils sampling and testing, concrete sampling and testing, masonry sampling and testing, asphalt testing, reinforcing steel inspection.
- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and accurately prepare field reports in accordance with Atlas's report standards and applicable codes.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience within this field
- Able to understand construction drawings
- Fluent in English (oral/written)
Technical Requirements:
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- ACI Concrete Sampling Technician I certification
- Nuclear Soil Density Testing experience
Other miscellaneous qualities:
- Additional CTQP certifications in soils, concrete and asphalt are desired/preferred.
