Intern Job Description
Be part of the Media Analytics Product Management team leveraging the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to build new and innovative ways to watch and monetize content. Our mission is to revolutionize the way video is enjoyed.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, quick learning, and detail-oriented candidates that will help develop how we leverage media analysis at Comcast and beyond. As a Product Management Intern on the Media Analytics team, you will be supporting the Product team in defining and developing new and existing products that leverages machine learning and artificial intelligence to analyze what's happening within video. Specifically, this role will be responsible for requirements gathering, creating user stories, and competitive analysis to make sure product meets customer/market needs.
The Product team works closely with Research and Engineering to discover new ways of leveraging AI to innovate the Entertainment experiences. As a Media Analytics Product Manager, working with product counterparts across the organization necessary to bring the Products we build to our Entrainment customers. This requires balancing meeting stakeholder's needs with maintaining a platform that is meant to serve multiple customers.
Inyour role, you will help the team understand the gaps and opportunities that there are in the video entertainment space. Then explore ways we can leverage AI to take advantage of those opportunities an develop engaging customer experiences. Develop new ways our customer can enjoy Live sports. Find ways to make ads more seamless in the viewing experience.
You'll be working with the best and brightest minds in Comcast while we roll out the entertainment experiences that will enhance the next generation of television. Success in this role is characterized by understanding customer pain points and market opportunities and developing ideas to address them.
Job Responsibilities
Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Document requirements for new products and improvements to existing products based on customer needs
  • Analyze competitive products video entertainment products and identify gaps
  • Assist product development efforts by helping with end user product testing
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior with an anticipated graduation date of December 2024, Spring 2025, December 2025 or Spring 2026.
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting. Internship roles will be office-based with no virtual offerings.
  • Recommended GPA: 3.0 (candidates will be evaluated on overall skills, education, and experience)

Compensation
Base Pay: $32.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
