Unrefined Wellness Bar is hiring!

Unrefined Wellness Bar is a new organic cold pressed juice and smoothie bar located in Eugene, Oregon.

We are currently seeking Team Members with previous experience in a similar role to join our team. It is not required, but desirable if you have experience in vegan or plant-based cafes/restaurants/big chains or have worked in other juice bar businesses.

This position will require you to nurture friendly relationships with customers, be a respected and strong Team Member, and help turn Unrefined into the new local favorite!

Roles and responsibilities will rotate, including cashiering, food preparation, dishwashing, barista, and juicing.

Responsibilities include:

• Become an expert on our menu and products, educate customers on product benefits and be able to offer menu and product suggestions based on customers health goals.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Serve food in a professional and timely manner to ensure guests have an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
• Accurately handle all cash and credit card transactions.
• Follow and uphold all company policies per employee handbook and training.
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, and espresso shots according to recipes.
• Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients according to recipes.
• Check food and ingredients for freshness.
• Arrange and garnish menu items.
• Ensure the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned.
• Work closely with management to support efficiency and communication.
• Ensure proper food preparation, handling, and rotation.
• Maintain a clean working environment at all times.
• Maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Track food waste.
• Enforce all health code and food and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Oregon Food Handlers card.
• Experience working in a similar role.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proficient time management skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Great people skills.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Understand and comply with all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts.
• Availability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.20 - $15.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
