Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • The Senior Project Manager will be a key driver of initiatives/projects across the V2X organization across multiple functions. This is a key role responsible for improving processes for the PMO, enhancing collaboration across the organization, and facilitating the project governance process across the organization. Responsibilities will include building and gaining buy in for the overall project management approach for the company. This role requires the capacity to solve complex problems, communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, understand the core business strategy. Must possess an advanced set of skills to make the right technical decisions and ensure that all business goals/KPI’s are optimized through the delivery process. Demonstrate leadership skills through management of project delivery and training of project management processes/tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Core Areas of Expertise
    • Drive complex multi-functional initiatives ensuring organization alignment through all levels of the organization from inception thru delivery.
    • Build Transformation & Integration strength and knowledge across the company about processes and system capabilities.
    • Communicate clear and succinct initiatives activities to all levels of the organization.
    • Drive execution in top multi-function initiatives through Transformation & Integration team, insights and progress tracking – responsibility for up and out of organization.
    • Create and facilitate key strategic project practices and methodologies to the enterprise.
    • Applies proven problem solving and critical analysis methodologies to optimize deliveries to business.
  • Process Improvements & Implementation
    • Drive execution by ensuring coordination and collaboration between internal customers and business functions through i.e., reporting meetings, governance, costs, etc.
    • Leads oversight and prioritization of transformational projects. With key influence in driving continuous improvement in core business applications, reporting systems, processes, and policies.
    • Experienced with defining and execution of large scale, service-oriented systems for optimizing performance and quality.
    • Executes implementation projects and processes improvements for the enterprise and provides specialized knowledge of business systems and processes.
    • Responsible for defining and communicating weekly status on projects to Transformation & Integration leadership
    • Ability to work and lead cross-functional business teams to identify fundamental business requirements with definable ROIs.
    • Responsible for defining and execution transition of project and support documentation to the business.
    • Develops and drives training plans for applications utilization across the enterprise functional teams.
    • Identifies and implements new methodologies for business process delivery.
    • Leads cross-functional teams through risk assessments and mitigation plan execution from inception thru delivery.
    • Monitors and reports on benefits realization through the organization.
  • Support Strategic Vision
    • Strategizes, defines, launches, and govern strategic transformation programs.
    • Manages strategic project report outs, deliverables, and integration dates up to leadership.
    • Develops and maintains principles, standards, procedures, and implementation processes and enterprise financial applications.
    • Establishes best practices processes and systems integrations by establishment of a playbooks creating increased efficiencies that can be leverages for future acquisitions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of seven (7) years' related experience with progressive responsibility in project management and governance definition to include exposure with international and commercial operations.
    • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in large-scale integrations.
    • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
    • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in application delivery
  • Other Requirements:
    • United States citizenship required,

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications/Licenses:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

    • Possesses strategic thinking skills to synthesize scenarios and diverse perspectives to problem solving, focused on aligning projects with broader business objectives.
    • Able to solution complex problems with various problem-solving methodologies.

    • Demonstrated experience with complex problem solving and risk analysis.
    • Able to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Business/Project Management Acumen:
    • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation through innovation and the implementation of technology.
    • Strong grasp of project and portfolio management methodologies and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office 365 tools (MS Project, MS Visio etc.)
    • Comprehensive understanding of interdependencies between operations and business needs.
    • Experienced with business transformation, leading complex projects, major change initiatives and teams to transform systems, processes, and operations to meet business strategies and objectives.
    • Able to tie strategies to tactics and achieve buy-in at all levels.
    • Possesses change management and planning skills.
    • Demonstrates decisiveness in resolving business problems and identifying personal and project priorities.

    • Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, including ability to facilitate effective collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and develop consensus and drive all organizations to achieve quality goals.
    • Possesses exceptional verbal skill set: discerns and clarifies information, profound listening skills, perceptive, recognizes subtleties, identifies and questions assumptions, thoughtful, professional, and assertive responses.
    • Interfaces comfortably and effectively with a wide range of team members to include executive leadership.

    • Able to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously while delivering accurate results on time and within scope to meet project deliverables, milestones, and timelines.

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
    • USD $ 125,000 - 180,000
  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
