Position Overview:

Your primary responsibilities will include dough preparation, rolling, and baking fresh bread to order, slicing meats, refilling the sandwich station, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the sandwich prep area. You will also be responsible for checking the freshness and expiration dates of ingredients to maintain our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, roll, and bake dough, make sandwiches according to customer orders.
• Slice meats and ensure a variety of sandwich fillings are prepared and available.
• Refill and maintain the sandwich station, ensuring all items are stocked and accessible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sandwich prep area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and expiration dates, taking action to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Work efficiently and accurately, especially during peak hours.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and work collaboratively with other Team Members to create a welcoming and productive environment.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a sandwich shop is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on cleanliness and food safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
