The Team Leader, Credit Union at Loyola University Medical Center provides functional support and maintenance of mission critical Credit Union business applications. They serve as a resource, interface and liaison with staff and vendors to resolve problems with functionality of vendor software applications. They respond to business process issues by researching application problems, developing solutions, conducting test cases and soliciting support from technical application staff or vendors in order to facilitate issue resolution. They Perform pre-install testing of new releases of applications; reviews data; conducts file maintenance. They provide training and guidance to staff in utilization of new internal business processes and new systems or applications.
The work activities require thorough understanding and experience in one or more applications; and the ability to analyze and facilitate application and system issues in order to meet the Credit Union internal operation and member business needs.
This position requires some supervision of some less experienced member services specialists.
What you will do:
- Provides analysis, functional support, and maintenance of Credit Union software products (ie. Share Tec, Home Banking, Master IPay, Alloya, Star Debit, DocuSign, Liberty Check systems).
- Analyzes and responds to business process issues by researching problems, setting-up and recreating issues; creating solutions; and soliciting support from staff or vendors in order to facilitate issue resolution.
- Research and responds to member inquiries and complaints.
- Serves as operations lead, overseeing and providing supervision to less experienced member services staff.
- Provide accounting support performing daily balancing, corporate check reconciliation, payroll processing, remote deposits, IRA processing and 1099 year-end reporting.
- Serves in back up Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) compliance role.
- Provide loan processing support and serve as backup to the Loan Officer
- Promote a sales culture that consistency meets and exceeds membership and loan growth goals.
- Assists members with their financial needs by identifying products and services, or other debt counseling services as appropriate.
- Trains staff on new application functionality and maintenance; creates documentation and develops related training materials reflecting system updates and changes.
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a host of Credit Union applications providing guidance to other staff members.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in
- order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.
- Assist Credit Union manager with special projects as needed.
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma, plus training acquired through work experience or education; Associate's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of previous job-related experience; 6-10 years preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of related experience in the Credit Union industry with 2-3 of experience in Lending and use of Credit Union application software.
