SUMMARY

The position of Marketing Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of marketing programs and activities and managing the company’s marketing initiatives. The position of Marketing Manager must maintain compliance within audit, internal controls, security, BSA, and CTR standards.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Establish and implement marketing campaigns to generate new business.
  2. Work to achieve specific goals in the assigned marketing programs.
  3. Create and execute all product, email and social media campaigns.
  4. Conduct research and analysis of market trends, consumer demographics, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
  5. Develop detailed marketing plans and campaigns for all media channels.
  6. Approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects across the company.
  7. Communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition.
  8. Work within a department budget to develop a cost-effective marketing plan for each product or service.
  9. Track all marketing and sales data and create detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executives.
  10. Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback.
  11. May perform routine and intermediate branch and customer service duties.
  12. Assist in answering telephones and directs callers to proper Bank personnel.
  13. Provide effective customer service and assist in resolving problems within given authority.
  14. Operate computer terminal or personal computer to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within given authority.
  15. Record, file, scan, and update information and sort reports as required.

SECONDARY DUTIES

The position of Marketing Manager performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

The position of Marketing Manager is not responsible for the supervision of any employee(s); however, is required to provide limited supervision, training and support to less experienced department members.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The environment for this position is an open office that is mostly clean and comfortable. The employee is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.


The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), encoder, money counter, credit card terminal, typewriter, computer terminal, personal computer and related printers.


MENTAL DEMANDS

The incumbent in this position must be able to accommodate to reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, training, and multiple concurrent tasks.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university; two to five years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a financial analyzing or lending background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
  • Experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
  • Knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate and consumer loan processing.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of related state and federal loan regulations and other Bank lending policies.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and members of the general public.
  • Skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; and word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Basic typing skills to meet production needs of the position.
  • Basic math skills; calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Ability to deal with normal problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
  • Current California driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
