The Shipping and ProductionTeam Lead will oversee and coordinate the Shipping and Production activities within the company. This role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining quality standards. The Team Lead will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and supervising production processes to meet customer demands while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Exposure to a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Supervise and lead the Shipping and Production team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate and prioritize production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
- Picking stock items to assemble finished products.
- Stocking shelves and organizing inventory.
- Shipping products using Quality Assurance standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and maintaining accurate records.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in Shipping and Production operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to shipping, handling, and Production processes.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve departmental performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Arrange for incoming shipments to be handled according to set company rules and regulations.
- Ascertain orderly and safe working conditions at all times and ensure that all safety and health protocols are being followed.
- Assist with placing Shipping and Production material orders.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably.
- Proficiency in using hand tools to assemble products effectively.
- Strong team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating with others.
- Ability to thrive and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
