Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level courses, conducting some research, student advising, student mentoring and recruitment, curriculum development, conducting scholarly activities, and other activities. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment and service to the department, College and University as needed. The 9-month non-tenure track faculty member will teach core civil and architectural engineering courses that includes but not limited to statics, mechanics, solid dynamics, fluids, surveying, construction materials, and others. The non-tenure track faculty member will participate in academic advising of students, assessment of student learning outcomes, program development and continuous improvement of the program. The faculty rank of the candidate selected will be determined based on the candidate's experience.

The CAEE Department is responsible for implementing and assessing its programs in civil and architectural engineering. The CAEE department offers BS and MS programs. The CAEE department has approximately 367 undergraduate and graduate students. The CAEE department has 11 full-time faculty, 6 part-time faculty, and 2 staff members. Minimum Requirements
PhD in Civil or Architectural Engineering, or a closely-related discipline
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Required License or Certification Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies.
