Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support to students with special education needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Help supervise students during recess, lunch, and other activities
- Assist with the preparation and organization of materials for lessons
- Support students in their literacy education and language development
- Provide individualized attention and care to toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Ability to assist with lesson planning and curriculum implementation
- Understanding of special education strategies and accommodations
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
