Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree is required (from an accredited college/university).
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
Applicants are required to submit the following through Ed-Join prior to the position closing date/time:

• Three current professional letters of reference dated within last 12 months

• Copy of California teaching credential(s) (or equivalent) - Education Specialist Credential (w/EL and Autism Authorization) - See below

• Copy of test scores
CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATIONS:
**Please note that this position requires two special ed authorizations, one that authorizes pre-K (birth to K) and one that authorizes TK - 12 in a special education setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education Specialist Teaching Credential with Mild to Mod Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs authorization AND Early Childhood Special Education authorization (or ability to enroll in an ECSE program to obtain authorization)
or
• Education Specialist Teaching Credential with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) authorization AND Mild to Mod Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs authorization (or ability to enroll in a program to obtain either authorization)
or
• Education Specialist Teaching Credential with new expanded Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) authorization that authorize special education TK and Kindergarten assignments (Authorization Codes: SEEC, R3ER, R3CH, R3BC)
