Job Summary:
Join us on our exciting journey as we are on the lookout for a talented Tax Senior to join our team. In this role, the Tax Senior will lead a team of tax professionals and collaborate closely with our esteemed tax partner to manage client relationships and oversee tax return reviews. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in tax compliance and planning for small businesses and excel in the art of building and nurturing lasting client connections.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of two staff accountants and two managers, offering guidance and training as necessary.
Collaborate closely with our accomplished tax partner to manage client relationships, ensuring the punctual and precise delivery of our top-notch tax services.
Thoroughly review tax returns prepared by the team to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
Stay well-informed about the latest developments in tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance for all our valued clients.
Deliver exceptional client service and establish enduring relationships with our clients.
Qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA or EA is nice to have
Demonstrate substantial expertise in tax compliance and planning for small businesses, with an emphasis on client-facing roles.
Possess a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Bring experience in managing and nurturing a team of tax professionals.
Showcase outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
