Tax Preparer

We are seeking a seasonal Tax Preparer to join our growing firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ with the opportunity for a future full time role.

Responsibilities include:

· Availability from February 1st- April 15th (or extended tax deadline)

· Tax preparation and planning for individual, partnership, and corporate clients;

-The preparer should expect to take on 150-250 tax returns

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required);

· EA/CPA or working toward their CPA license is a bonus;

· 4-5+ years of experience in Tax Preparation and bookkeeping;

· Strong general tax knowledge;

· Ability to build relationships and work well with the team;

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;

· Ability to balance accurate work within a fast-paced environment;

· Proper phone and client relations etiquette;

· Ability to work independently;

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

· Prior Thomson Reuters UltraTax experience required

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
