Job description

Job Responsibilities:

You'll be joining the team that manages the IRS audit of JPMorgan Chase & Co.  We'll be looking for you to:

  • Gather and analyze tax return and financial information to properly determine the impact of any adjustments to originally filed federal tax returns;
  • Coordinate with tax compliance and tax accounting groups to maintain and prepare schedules tracking adjustments and reconciling to original returns;
  • Assist in preparing IRS filings that reflect adjustments, including amended Federal corporate income tax returns; and
  • Facilitate tax audits by preparing schedules and responses to IRS inquiries. 

 

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate tax compliance and federal corporate tax return preparation;
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to build and adapt complex tax models;
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities;
  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal, technical communication and presentation skills; and
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional and PowerPoint.
