Duties:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Conduct research and analysis on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist clients with tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address any tax-related questions or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive tax services to clients
- Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliation, accounting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ATX, Lacerte,Etc) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in financial services or public accounting is preferred
