Being paid to sit down for 12 hours straight to fill numbers in boxes is not motivating.

So we’ve decided to flip the industry on itself and do taxes…differently.

A bit about us

We, at Rainwater CPAs, are no longer a compliance only firm. Instead, we offer a new service, called Tax Advisory (or TAS).

Our firm works solely with small business owners and high net worth individuals to properly plan for their taxes, throughout the year, and get the chance to showcase real tax savings when we file their return.

So what goes into tax advisory services? We focus on maximizing tax planning strategies that can make the biggest impact. Some of those include:

• Entity & compensation optimization
• Real estate industry strategies (Asset sales, Depreciation, 1031, Real estate professional, ect)
• Workhorse strategies (Augusta, Accountable plan, travel optimization, etc)
• Retirement optimization
• And much more

Basically nerdy tax stuff.

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You like to find ways to save people money on taxes
• You have a solid understanding of how the tax code works (specifically for business entities)
• You want to assist on tax planning kickoff calls, implementation calls and quarterly calls to help provide tax advisory services to our clients throughout the year
• You will be delighted to prepare or review returns that showcase the final tax savings our clients will receive
• You will be interested and intrigued when complex clients are signed up and are uniquely interested in spotting potential tax errors when reviewing client’s accounting system

To be considered, you’ll need:

• 1-3+ years in public accounting doing boring tax work (mandatory)
• A CPA license or be an Enrolled Agent or on track to obtain one
• An insatiable hunger to find way for our clients to save money on taxes
