At a Glance:

The Tax Accountant is primarily responsible for assisting with the preparation of various federal and state income tax calculations, provisions, returns and special projects.
Work Type: Remote
Location: Tulsa, OK
This position is expected to be filled in a work location that is within the states of Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Texas.
What you will do:

• Assist with the preparation of federal and state income tax returns
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly calculation of federal and state income tax depreciation files
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision calculation
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax calculations
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reconciliation of tax accounts
• Assist with the preparation of monthly franchise accrual calculations
• Assist with any special projects related to federal, state or international income tax

What you need:

• 2+ years of experience in a large corporate tax environment or public accounting firm preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; focus in Tax a plus
• Advanced degree and/or Certified Public Accountant a plus
• General knowledge of federal income and state tax principles, as well as standard corporate book/tax differences
• Some knowledge of ASC 740 and related financial statement disclosure requirements
• Oracle or OneSource and/or Hyperion Tax Provision experience is a plus
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize multiple tasks which require close attention to detail
• Ability to self-manage and complete assigned tasks on time

• Extended hours may be required periodically during peak work periods
