In this role, you will be involved in preparing U.S. federal, state and international income tax filings, audits, tax research and planning, technology and automation projects. Location This position is based in our headquarters office in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities • Preparation of U.S. federal, state, and U.S. international tax filings (Forms 1065, 1120, 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865). • Preparation of Canadian federal and provincial income tax returns. • Computation of estimated tax payments. • Completion of assigned projects. • Monitor tax legislation. • Assist with income tax audits and field support. • Research and analysis of tax issues. • Interact with Kiewit Management and other financial departments, tax preparers and external auditors. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in accounting is required. • 3 to 5 years of corporate income tax experience. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. • Proven accounting/tax technical abilities, strong problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills and detail oriented. • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software). • Must be able to meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks and able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Some travel may be required. #LI-JB1 Other Requirements: Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
