In Good Taste makes premium by the glass wines from around the world. After 3 million mini bottles sold online and 200,000 people hosted on virtual tastings, we have decided to open the doors to our first Tasting Room to create a wine loving in person community and are now hiring a Tasting Room Hosts to run the newly renovated Tiburon Tasting Room.
About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and organized Tasting Room Host to infuse a lively and energetic atmosphere, elevate our brand presence in the Bay Area and cultivate our wine club memberships.
Day to Day Expectations:
-We make 24 wines from around the world, you will be expected to learn what makes each wine special and convey that to the guest in a fun and passionate way
-Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling tasting events like partnering with local chefs, wine and paint night, club pickup parties, live music and other creative ideas you can execute
-Deliver exceptional customer service and wine knowledge in a unique and fun environment
-Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming Tasting Room atmosphere that reflects our brand's image
-Personally conduct wine tastings, ensuring each guest receives a memorable experience.
-Promote and manage our wine club membership program, with a focus on growth and retention
-Be the eyes and ears of customer feedback to identify trends and growth opportunities
-Ensure we adhere to all codes, regulations, and sanitation expectations for wine and food service.
-We are a young, fast growing winery — you must be open to change, and able to be responsive and flexible to last-minute requests
Qualifications:
-Genuine passion for the wine industry
-Organized, detail oriented and event planning comes naturally to you
-Previous hospitality experience in restaurants, hotels, or a wine-related role
-Physical ability to lift 40 pounds for various tasks
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Flexible availability including weekends, nights and holidays
-Experience with Point of Sale software and G suite
