Job Description
Reporting to the Group Head of Talent Management, you will lead the North America (NA) Talent Management agenda to align with the Global strategy that enables LGC to assess talent and development needs at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the NA Business Units and the HR Teams to mould our talent assessment methodology and enable LGC to build a strong Talent and Succession pipeline
- Drive and develop the right leadership development approach for NA that addresses the needs of the business and underpins the Talent philosophy, and appropriately segmented against leadership levels in the organisation
- Champion and drive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in the context of diversifying our talent at all levels and notably driving great diversity at senior levels within LGC
- Overhaul, align with the business, and then implement, a joined up global approach to performance management, aligned with an emerging new HCM that is about to be implemented - active participation in designing that HCM will be critical
- Align the Talent Management approach with the newly revised Job Architecture and career ladders to ensure our approach is joined up with programmes of development that align to them
- Oversee and manage our NA employee engagement programme from the capturing of employee response data, reporting back out to senior leadership and enabling the business to develop the right responses to the data found
- Drive the development of the NA Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to facilitate greater employee participation, ideas generation and positive action that benefits employees globally
Qualifications
- Strong North AmericaTalent Management leader with experience designing and implementing creative, broad-based executive, leadership and people-development and talent programs/structures within large (1000 FTE) environments
- Experience of M&A / company integrations where re-alignment of talent programmes and performance management approaches are required
- Proven ability to earn the trust of peers across the organization, inspire the executive leadership team and other key stakeholders by understanding their business needs and building strong and sustainable relationships through listening and consultative skills
- Proven ability to operate as an effective partner with the broad HR organisation
- An experienced strategic planner with sound technical skills, strong analytical ability, superior judgment, and is a self-directed individual who is measured, resilient, and a team player.
