The Talent Acquisition Specialist I receives and process a high volume of employment verifications and career postings for O’Reilly Auto Parts. This requires the Talent Acquisition Specialist to have the ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, and have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet specific deadlines. This individual is responsible for maintaining a high standard of work by being detail-oriented with exceptional customer service and communication skills. This person will need to be actively engaged with our internal departments as they build relationships, create brand awareness, and ensure O’Reilly continues to be the industry leader.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Process all employment verification requests from various sources and requestors. This could include but not limited to, existing or past team members, 3rd party requestors, corporate offices, stores, and distribution centers. This typically involves a large amount of phone calls, email, various types of parcel post and delivery, fax, and other methods of communication
Research, screen, and suggest new methods to further streamline and enhance processes
Update and maintain the Talent Acquisition phone log
Develop and maintain the Talent Acquisition communication e mail and distribute to the Talent Acquisition Team
Process all employment advertising requests for field management. This will include: posting to various external job boards, social media sites and Launch successful campaigns from management and stores across the country
Assist with other Talent Support functions as needed: assisting store team members and external customers with all onboarding calls, candidate testing, processing invoices, etc
Support the field team members through customer service calls related to human resources and employment
Manage the advertising budget for the stores, distribution centers and corporate postings
Review, proofread, and edit all postings and job descriptions
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIESRequired:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service
Knowledge with job posting platforms and using digital marketing
Technical skills related to business communication and execution via phone, email and in person
Strong analytical skills to collect, research, and act on data in a systematic and detailed way
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Desired:
4 year degree focused in: communication, English, writing, marketing, business or human resources
Above average interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
1+ year of human resources or clerical experience preferred
