JOB LOCATION:Association Leadership & Resource Office at the Wellmark YMCA
HOURS/DAYS SCHEDULE:Standard work week, but will occasionally work evening or weekend hours to accommodate activities such as meetings and events.
SALARY RANGE:$49,400-$54,00/annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for ensuring the organization attracts and hires the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline for key positions. This position collaborates with branch and department supervisors on a regular basis, proactively identifying future hiring needs and working collaboratively to determine a recruitment strategy and establish a timeline for filling open positions. A large focus area of this position will be actively attracting youth development and child care candidates using various online sources, including social media, job boards, and digital advertising, and building relationships with schools, colleges and other local organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensures the organization's employment brand is reflected consistently across all areas of recruiting.
  2. Manages the employment section of the organization's website, ensuring all areas are up to date and reflective of the employment brand and all positions are posted accurately.
  3. Collaborates with branch and department supervisors to proactively identify hiring needs, determine recruitment strategy and establish recruiting timeline.
  4. Manages the job requisition and recruitment process and continually reviews processes to ensure the process is as user friendly and streamlined as possible.
  5. Promotes position openings by using social media, online job boards, digital advertising and other areas accessed by job seekers.
  6. Prepares recruitment materials and posts positions to appropriate job boards, publications, colleges and other identified areas.
  7. Develops and fosters relationships with colleges, universities, and other sources of candidates to position the YMCA as a strong, cause-driven employer.
  8. Attends job fairs and other community events to represent the YMCA as an employer and to promote current job opportunities and long term career options.
  9. Actively sources and recruits passive candidates by using employment databases and other areas of access.
  10. Implements measures for improving candidate engagement in the recruitment and selection process.
  11. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or designated staff person.
  13. Demonstrate and support the objectives of the Association as embodied in the mission statement and values.
