If so, we are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our mission to foster growth, development and create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all.
Recruitment and Selection:
- Develop strong relationships with our Operations teams, including Administrators, Managers, and Team Leaders.
- Gain a deep understanding of our various sites and their specific hiring needs.
- Maintain our HR Information System (HRIS) for Recruiting and Onboarding, including accurate job postings and updated templates.
- Assist in updating Job Descriptions and Interview Guides to ensure they align with our evolving needs.
- Collaborate with site managers to review schedules and staffing requirements.
- Research and identify effective recruiting sources to attract qualified candidates.
- Establish and nurture relationships with external stakeholders through networking to build a pipeline of potential applicants.
- Oversee and actively participate in recruiting activities, including job postings, career fairs, and networking events.
- Execute the interview process, reviewing applicants to ensure they meet employment requirements, conducting preliminary interviews, and scheduling interviews with managers.
- Manage intern background checks and associated paperwork.
- Maintain applicant data for analysis of recruitment metrics, allowing us to make data-driven decisions
- Schedule and conduct new employee Orientation, review orientation paperwork, complete E-Verify, and enter new employees into the HRIS.
- Review completed personnel files, either electronically or in paper, to ensure all documents are present and filed correctly.
- Maintain the HRIS system for onboarding, keeping it up to date with changes in policy, procedure, or regulations.
- Ensure the safe storage and destruction of applicant files for those who were not hired, in accordance with Iowa Code and Candeo Policy.
- Serve as a backup for new hire training to ensure a smooth onboarding process for all employees.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as directed by HR Administrator
Education/Training/License/Certification Requirements
- BA in Human Services or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- A working knowledge of person-centered planning and supports is required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with recruiting and/or hiring/onboarding
- Ability to work in fast paced recruitment environment.
- Ability to work beyond office hours when needed.
- Ability to work from office at least 4 days a week.
- Valid Iowa Driver's License
- Proof Automobile Insurance
- Must be free from conviction of prior child or dependent adult abuse, neglect or mistreatment.
- Possess a motor vehicle that meets the required operational and maintenance guidelines, that are in accordance with the Iowa Department of Transportation motor vehicle safety standards and Candeo's Motor Vehicle Guidelines
Salary Description
$43,000- $45,000
