Security Clearance: No security clearance is required, but the ability to maintain a security clearance is required for this role.
Position Description:
Command Post Technologies (CPT) is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruitment Team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist's daily work would involve developing sourcing strategies; executing sourcing strategies like posting job descriptions on websites and job boards; conducting initial interviews; documenting prospective candidates' information; and meeting regularly with the recruitment team. Some travel may be required for career fairs and other business conferences.
Things to Consider:
• Determination to source candidates for highly technical positions; willingness to collaborate within a small, team environment; and eagerness to learn are key soft skills that we are searching for in an ideal candidate.
• Due to the technical nature of many of the jobs at Command Post Technologies, an ideal candidate will have expertise in sourcing candidates with niche skill sets and security clearances.
• Advanced understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations will need to be demonstrated and leveraged in daily initiatives.
• Exceptional customer service skills will be necessary when managing pipelines of candidates. Timely follow-up, respectful communication, careful listening, and a "How can I help you?" mentality are essential for being successful in this role.
• CPT offers leadership development training and organizes various company initiatives throughout the year. As a team member you will be expected to participate in these initiatives and professional development opportunities.
Schedule:
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study OR equivalent experience (5+ years) working in Talent Acquisition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using various hiring software such as LinkedIn Talent Recruiter.
• Intermediate knowledge of full-stack recruitment cycles.
• Intermediate knowledge of knowledge of sourcing strategies and tools (e.g., job boards, social media, talent communities, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, recruiting managers, and other stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes and attract world-class employees.
• Experience reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to the position requirements.
• Experience measuring success by identifying and evaluating candidate experience and satisfaction metrics; monitor change progress over time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is required.
