Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, Talent Acquisition Manager will execute the iTi's procurement strategies and ensure the integrity of business processes in acquiring all Goods and Services needed for Interpretation, Translation, Marketing, Sales and other departments. The individual will source Professional Services, multilingual linguists (interpreters), translators, video and audio specialists, and other resources required to serve internal and external customers effectively within iTi's contract terms and conditions by ensuring on time, on budget, and quality-based project delivery.
The core responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Manager is to validate resource requirements, identify and evaluate requirements, coordinate and negotiate contracts with multilingual linguists (interpreters) other suppliers, and expedite where necessary. The individual will coordinate contracting activities with other departments and functions to acquire resources cost-effectively and timely.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will facilitate, cross-train and be conscious of various departments, gain in-depth knowledge of their needs and processes to recruit and source the right resources. He/ She will be the key liaison between suppliers (individuals and third party), language interpreters, and the iTi operations and marketing teams.
The individual will be responsible for successfully providing ITI experience for internal and external customers, vendors, and partners. This person needs to model and act in accordance with iTi's mission, vision, and core values at all times.
THE FOLLOWING KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES ENSURE THE CRITICAL SUCCESS OF THIS POSITION:

15% - Develop talent and resources acquisition strategy to identify all departments' short-term and long-term needs and promptly develop execution plans to procure the services.
  • Assist the director of operations in reviewing the strategic plans of all departments and prioritize the needs for linguists(interpreters), translators, video and photographers, marketing companies, designers, and other services, etc.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design, develop, communicate and implement an effective talent and services acquisition strategy, processes, and policy.
  • Understands business objectives and ongoing workforce plan/resource needs by developing collaborative relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, including hiring managers, business leaders, department managers, and HR management.
  • Work effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, department managers, and operational staff, with minimal oversight to ensure all their talent and service needs are met timely.
  • Maintain and have a working knowledge of current quality systems, procedures, material and services knowledge, and requirements as they pertain to the procurement of services and Talent Acquisition.
  • Measure and monitor existing and develop new Objectives and Key Result areas and associated metrics.
  • Provide market data and analysis to support annual long and medium-term strategic business planning processes.
  • Develop Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs for critical suppliers, including ongoing reviews based on the Key Results approach while maintaining solid relationships with other suppliers to make iTi a Customer-of-Choice.
50% - Identify and recruit multilingual linguists (interpreters) and source services for Translation, Call-center, and Marketing departments to meet their ever-growing needs.
  • Leverage your creativity to shape and develop the recruiting strategy to grow our network of independent consultants. Use your outstanding people appraisal and assessment skills to ensure high expertise and depth in our network.
  • Launch plans to identify the best independent consultants to support our clients, ensuring high quality, impact, and results.
  • Lead the effort in building strong relationships with our independent consultants, Client Service Partners, and services providers.
  • Work closely with the requesting department managers and others to clearly understand their requirements to provide early input into the sourcing process; research supply options, and sourcing candidates.
  • Proactively work with sales and other departments and leadership team to understand upcoming new contracts and ensure that linguists for all forecasted languages are screened and onboarded on a timely basis.
  • Ensure that the supplier database is always up to date and complete with all required linguists' and services providers’ information and pricing details.
  • Organize and prioritize daily workflow to ensure that all deadlines are met, and the company goal of 98.5% fill rate is achieved.
  • Coordinate with department managers and others to identify and prioritize video and audio specialists, copywriters, content writers, publishers, and any other resources that are required from time to time.
  • Manage the procurement of services on behalf of the company or for specific clients.
  • Negotiate terms and rates, ensuring that you secure the best possible rates in line with the company's sourcing policy.
  • Successfully negotiate to maximize cost-effectiveness for iTi and its clients.
  • Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
20% Lead and ensure that all linguists(interpreters) and vendors are screened and onboarded while ensuring that all iTi supplier compliance requirements are met 100% of the time.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and vendor partners and liaison between them and iTi.
  • Proactively engage the marketplace to identify innovative supplier offerings, develop company leverage, understand key cost drivers, and mitigate risk.
  • Manage, measure, and improve cost competitiveness through capital cost and execution hours reductions while ensuring continuous supply of high-quality services to achieve the lowest “Total Cost” to iTi and increase company cash flow and profitability.
  • Communicate with different stakeholders to solve systemic operational issues and engage suppliers at a strategic level.
  • Negotiate strategical supply agreements and standardized contracts with suppliers to lower costs, ensure supply, and eliminate sole or single source situations.
  • Utilizing and reinforcing the Global Strategic Sourcing processes and documents defined in the Business Management System (BMS).
  • Identify, screen, and qualify new linguists and suppliers to fill supply chain gaps, improve performance, and increase backup options for cost management and high fulfillment targets.
  • Ensure that all credentials of the linguists are screened, verified, and documented.
  • Administer language proficiency exams and ensure that all linguists meet the iTi standards.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all documents, including legal, state, and federal law compliance forms and data.
  • Ensure all vendor agreements and pricing details are negotiated, approved, and documented promptly.
15% Lead the Talent Acquisition team and focus on the continuous improvement effort to enhance the procurement process, vendor quality, and client satisfaction
  • Recruit, retain, and develop outstanding Talent Acquisition Coordinators by providing direction, leadership, and management to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, goals, and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition coordinators to ensure desired objectives, key result areas, and functional metrics are achieved.
  • Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, continuing education, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in Services Management and the Supply Chain.
  • Engages team members in growth and development discussions and facilitates ongoing development action plans.
  • Assess core working processes for continuous improvement, identify and fill gaps, and share best practices throughout the team and other departments.
  • Provide strategic advice, coaching, and guidance to departments, HR team, and key stakeholders.
  • Influence key stakeholders to align expectations to the external marketplace.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including daily and weekly huddles (4DX sessions).
  • Gather and monitor supplier performance data for quality, service, cost, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Continuously strive to improve and document all relevant procedures and work instructions to increase the productivity of all suppliers and vendors.
  • Suggest, discuss, and implement creative and innovative solutions to attract linguists to become part of the iTi vendor database and actively accept assignments.
  • Perform cost analysis and volume planning for significant services and products (e.g., materials, equipment, and services).
  • Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. May recommend cost-saving proposals.
  • Identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyze the impact of pricing changes for linguists and services providers.
Requirements:

Your qualifications are:
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in communications, operations, or business discipline.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or supplier evaluations.
  • 2+ years of professional experience (preferred) spanning relevant areas of operations, supply chain management, procurement, and quality, preferably in the linguistic industry preferred.
  • A highly driven, self-starter with a track record in interviewing, assessment, and professional development.
  • You should have a solid talent-focused skillset, with a background in staffing in a professional services/ consulting environment, top-tier recruitment/search or development.
  • Proven strategic Talent Acquisition professional.
  • Able to positively influence at all levels of an organization and to develop valued relationships with Senior Executives, Managers, Linguists, and Suppliers alike.
  • Politically savvy, flexible, and with a solid drive to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of constant change, competing priorities and objectives.
  • Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
  • A highly motivated and positive attitude is essential to this role, as working within the procurement industry can often be very demanding and challenging.
  • Solid customer service background and get along with people skills from all walks of life.
  • A flexible approach to negotiating and a willingness to work to time-sensitive deadlines are essential.
  • Good problem-solving and analytics skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing clearly and concisely. Bilingual preferred.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with a diverse group of linguists, clients, and third-party vendors.
  • Quick learner and practical negotiator.
