The Systems Manager role is responsible for leading the day to day, compliance and continuous improvement of Mars signature tool PPM (Project Portfolio Management) and the technical QuEST/QES processes. (Quality Efficiency Speed Transparency/Quality Efficiency Sustainability). This role will become the Global Lead and Functional Expert for the North America Region for all PPM related activities and support the PPM/Quest and QES Cross-Regional team. Additional responsibilities will include training, testing, process adherence, compliance, governance, performance, metric analytics and development and education of Key Users/cross-functional stakeholders across the Mars business. The role will work closely with the other Functional Experts in shared areas of compliance reporting, systems continuous improvement, and training.
What are we looking for?
- Seeking to have a BS in engineering or related field.
- Continuous Improvement, Project Management and Change Management Experience a plus.
- Proficient in data analysis
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams.
- Must be good with software systems.
- Must have an aptitude to continue to grow, learn and develop themselves.
- Must be able to work within department and cross functionally to deliver training, drive system improvements & compliance.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead Petcare North American governance and continuous improvement of QuEST/QES technical process and PPM, in partnership with cross-functional team members, Global teams, and the Senior Leadership team.
- Test and train on any new or changed functionality within PPM.
- Train new/existing associates and continue to develop and deploy best-in-class function-specific training materials for QuEST/QES for standard refresher, onboarding trainings and new deployments.
- Partner to drive technical process excellence working alongside leaders to drive execution, facilitating governance, and communication processes where necessary.
- Lead role in audit readiness and compliance regarding QuEST/QES process, standard, and governance adherence.
- Partner (regional & global) to develop and implement prioritized PPM systems continuous improvement roadmap.
- Key contributor to the Global standards, segment-wide process and system enhancements, as well as driving forward the best-in-class data submissions for North America.
- Manage and recommend required improvements to all project methodologies.
- Provides counsel to project team when questions come up on PPM or QuEST/QES process.
- Review Project Charter for the proper field compliance and work with the Project Managers to refine if needed.
