Job Responsibilities
Supports college IT operations by designing, implementing, monitoring, securing, and documenting enterprise systems in virtual datacenter and cloud environments while serving as primary systems administrator for virtualization, email, network storage, and backup systems. Provides systems-level support to helpdesk, developers, database administrators, and network personnel and develops scripts to automate tasks, manage systems, and audit security controls.
Knowledge and technical expertise in information systems to include: analysis, design, testing, security and maintenance. Experienced knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, scripting languages, and other information technology tools/resources to include: Windows, AIX, Linux, and VMWare servers; Storage Area Networks; Exchange Server; Active Directory; Azure/ M365; and PowerShell. Knowledge in system backups and disaster recovery.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, information systems, or related field and three (3) years of relevant experience in systems administration; or an equivalent associate's degree and five (5) years of equivalent experience in systems administration.
