You will be responsible for providing administrative, operational, and programmatic support for a Government Owned - Contractor Operated (GOCO) Integrated Data Environment (IDE) system. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact with our US Navy clients.
In this role, you will:
- Perform system administration functions for the PMS-ES system and its applications and provide initial triage of user reported problems.
- Communicate with system users to troubleshoot reported issues and respond to requests (e.g. user access, application how-to, or application errors).
- Track reported issues and requests in a ticketing system and follow through to resolution.
- Coordinate with system developers to provide details of and troubleshoot reported issues.
- Conduct functional testing and validation of the system and updates/fixes to its applications.
- Interface with Navy program stakeholders to obtain relevant information to accomplish application data setup or modification.
- Provide individual and group training to system users both remotely and in-person.
- Develop technical documentation (e.g. training materials and user guides).
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $91,701.62 to $152,836.04; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience. In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for comparable work experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance post-employment.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift between 7 am and 7 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
- Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Must be able to travel to Washington, DC for initial 2-week training with PMS-ES Help Desk staff.
- Must be able to fly to customer locations on the east, west, and gulf coasts to conduct on-site user training as required. The ideal candidate is located close to San Diego, CA.
- Travel 25% required
- Experience with the PMS-ES system is highly desired.
- Experience with other IDE systems.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team environment.
- Experience with software testing and training.
