Systems Analyst - Edi And Sql Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Analyst with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and extensive experience in SQL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient systems solutions, particularly focused on EDI processes and SQL data extracts and stored procedures. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. EDI Implementation and Management:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand EDI requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

2. SQL Database Extracts:

• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support data retrieval and manipulation.
• Perform regular query tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL extracts, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

3. System Analysis and Design:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for systems development.
• Work closely with business users to gather and document system requirements.
• Design and implement scalable and sustainable systems solutions.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates and insights on project progress.

5. Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI processes, SQL databases, and systems architecture.
• Develop and update user guides and training materials for end-users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience creating EDI mapping utilizing Cleo Integration Cloud
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst with a focus on EDI and SQL (3 years of experience).
• In-depth knowledge of EDI standards and protocols.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Transaction sets: 940,943,944,945,947,856, and 810.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Familiarity with data mapping and transformation processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified EDI Professional) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EDI software and tools.
• Familiarity with integration platforms and middleware solutions.
• Programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, DotNet) are a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
