Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science in related discipline or equivalent
- 8+ years of overall experience in a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience providing Technical Operational Support for a Business Intelligence Technology
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Business Intelligence role
- Experience in database design, integration, architecture and performance tuning practices
- Experience with various Data Warehouse solutions and ETL/ELT tools
- Knowledge of analytical tools i.e., Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Clue, Airflow, Boomi, R Studio, and Data Studio
- Experience with Hybrid cloud and data architectures
- Experience installing tools on a cloud-based infrastructure (IAAS) AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with modern data analytics approaches
- Project management skills and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable experience in effective verbal and written communications, and interaction with internal and external customers at all levels
Responsibilities:
- Oversee client/customer/vendor relations to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
- Create, implement and govern standards and procedures to ensure products are managed consistently and properly
- Provides feedback and technical guidance to administration and operations team
- Champion continuous improvement with a keen eye to raise the bar for security, scalability, and observability of the platform, as well as customer satisfaction
- Provide Platform Support for multiple instances of BI tools (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy and DOMO)
- Manage the platform roadmap for various BI Tools (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI and MicroStrategy)
- Assist with installing, configuring and managing platform tools on-prem and in the cloud
- Work with your team members to design and implement features and services for the analytics platform the team manages, and make sure the design choices are well documented and explained.
- Work with Data and Analytics teams to transform product selection into enterprise solutions for the company.
- Participate in the design/architect of multi-tenant enterprise environments ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, high secure and disaster recovery
