The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a system administrator to develop and support solutions that address the unique missions of clients. You'll provide technical and business system support across an Enterprise implementation of new tools and systems for our nations warfighters.
As a system administrator on our team, you'll ensure the infrastructure is functional and available, update and patch critical systems, and provide troubleshooting and Help Desk support. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

You Have:

• Experience leading, communicating, and coordinating with multiple government groups, contractor partners, and program office representatives in the resolution of issues
• Experience with systems administration or networking administration
• Experience with technologies such as LDAP, Active Directory, VMware, Nessus, or Splunk
• Experience operating in a Help Desk environment, including basic software or application troubleshooting, and management of user accounts using Active Directory
• Experience configuring and administering client network environments, including performing patch management, installs, and upgrades
• Secret clearance
• Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience working in a professional environment, Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree
• DoD 8570.01-M or Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience implementing security technologies and architecture, including encryption, network security, firewall configuration, or intrusion detection
• Experience with Cloud systems and services, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools, including JIRA, Confluence, or Crowd
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
