Systems Administrator

CoSolutions is looking to hire aSystems Administratorat our Biloxi, MS location.You will be a critical member of a tight knit, collaborative team to our Air Force customer on a contract that provides network & systems admin, software design & engineering, and O&M support for the agency’s cutting edge cyber training range environment.

NOTE: This is a 100% on-site position with no ability for remote/virtual work due to the sensitive nature of the work and collaboration of the program team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support by assisting with the development, maintenance, and updating of technical and project management documentation. Maintains accountability of Information
• Technology Equipment Custodian (ITEC) property.
• Provides help desk and troubleshooting assistance to staff and students on software and hardware. Installs, documents, tests and/or modifies computer systems or programs to meet
• customer requirements.
• Performs the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of the computer systems.
• Provides technical expertise in the areas of systems-related performance management, security reviews, and project planning. Sets-up and configures all PCs, maintains configuration
• standards.
• Proficient in current software and hardware: Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio); Windows-based PC.
• Installs and configures all peripheral devices such as printers, network cards, modems, CD ROM drives, scanners, projectors, and other devices connected to the network or network
• server.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• Experience in editing of technical drawings and systems documentation 3-5 years of experience in system administration
• Must have experience with hardware/software troubleshooting and analysis.
• Must possess experience with Help Desk responsibilities in a production environment.
• Must have excellent people skills; communication and familiarity with a customer support environment are crucial.

Education: HS diploma or GED.

Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret SCI

Certifications: DODD-8570 IA Technical Level II (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, Security+/CE, or SSCP) and an applicable Operating System competency certification.)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to walk to various locations as needed.
• Ability to bend and navigate to perform assigned duties.
• Ability to lift light to moderate equipment as needed for job.
