Systems Analyst 2
Summary/objective:
This is an Administrative Position supporting the Systems Engineering Technical Team who supports NAVSEA IWS 5.
Required education and experience:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be local to the WASH DC Metro Area
- Prefer 4 years or more of experience
- Holds an up to date Secret Clearance
- Preferably someone who has experience working for NAVSEASYSCOM at the WNY
- The position is not remote. Will need to go to meetings at Lockheed Martin - Manassas, WASH DC Navy Yard, and to meetings in Alexandria, VA.
- The position is mainly an administrative position, dealing with taking meeting minutes, data management, and File Transfers.
- Must have a good command of the English Language
- Has working knowledge with the family of MICROSOFT software (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel)
- Must have transportation and able to drive.
Preferred education and experience:
College Four Year Degree but not mandatory if significant experience is available.

Secret Clearance.

None.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands:
Light physical activity.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Excellent listening skills are essential. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. The employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and must account for the hours in a pay period to maintain full-time status.
Telework:
This is not a Telework position.
Travel:
Local Area travel only. Within 50 miles of the Washington Navy Yard.
