Requirements:ANS has an opening for DNS/IPAM System Administrator to support our government customers’ global enterprise networks. DNS system administration provides solutions for maintaing and enhancing the customers' DNS architecture and related systems.
The job duties of the DNS/IPAM System Administrator are as follows:
- Provide Domain Name System (DNS) and IP Address Management (IPAM) administration. Troubleshoot complex DNS problems by interfacing with various internal and external entities. Maintain relevant technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain DNS and IPAM ensuring high services availability and resiliency.
- Perform lab vendor equipment, software, application, and solution evaluation, testing, integration, and security certification relevant to DNS, IPAM.
- Knowledge of Infloblox NIOS DNS/IPAM Software
Support Tier-4 production troubleshooting of the services above and develop pro-active analysis solution for the Operations team. Leverage complex network analysis tools to identify and predict relevant services problems and aid in the post-mortem analysis of anomalies.
- Familiar with Infoblox NIOS and/or Linux/Bind and/or Microsoft Windows Server DNS
- Experience in engineering, developing, and maintaining DNS and IPAM
- Experience with DNS operations and engineering
- Basic understanding of networking and networking protocols
- Nice to have scripting, familiarity with Ansible, Python
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Candidate must have 10 years of related/relevant work experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 2 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years. The degree must be in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Must comply with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2.
Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Poly
