Form of workEdgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a System Administrator III to support the Emergency Operations Center at a major national laboratory.
This position requires 100% onsite work, therefore candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area by start date.
Responsibilities- Installing new infrastructure
- Assist customers with their file system needs (creating folder structure, backing up data, etc.)
- Work on switches
- Troubleshoot performance issues
- Examine logs
- Make harware recommendations
- Work with servers, but desktop support for the customer will also be part of daily duties.
- Works primarily with unclassified and classified data, networking, and software diagnostics.
- BS/BA or related field, with 2 years of related experience
- In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable
- U.S. Citizenship is required per Contract, with an active Department of Energy Q clearance or DoD Top Secret with reciprocity.

- Skill utilizing software diagnostic tools and the ability to conduct appropriate troubleshooting processes and conduct appropriate upgrades
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to be on-call
Desired:
- InfoComm CTS certification preferred but not required with the right experience. Any other industry related certifications or training is a plus. Examples: Crestron, BIAMP, Extron, QSC, Microsoft TEAMs, Shure, etc.
