Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE
Vanguard Integrity Professionals has a unique in-office IT position available for a System Administrator II. The successful incumbent will be joining our highly qualified team of professionals to maintain our company’s IT systems.
DUTIES
During your role as a System Administrator II, you will be responsible for the following:
· VMWare vCenter administration, configuration and troubleshooting
· Incident response coordination and management
· Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019 familiarity
· Cisco Routing, Switching, VOIP
· Advanced Cisco CUCM system administration updates and troubleshooting
· Microsoft System Center Administrator (SCCM) imaging and packaging
· Installs, connects network devices, rack mount servers, and maintains local area network hardware
· Coordinate change requests management
· Provide remote assistance to employees
· Install and configure new services and work independently on projects
· Advanced Active Directory skills not limited to: Group Policy, User Administration, Computer Administration, Sites and Services, Bitlocker management
· Advanced Microsoft Active Directory Security and integration
· Project Management skills from cradle to grave
· Microsoft Exchange 2016 on premise
· Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 Administration
· Microsoft Windows 10/11 Administration and patch management with WSUS
· Vulnerability management administration, configuration and troubleshooting
· IDS/IPS administration, configuration and monitoring
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· In-depth knowledge and experience with VMware eSXI, Horizon View, vCenter
· Backup and Disaster Recovery and site replication
· In-depth knowledge and experience with VMware
· Microsoft SharePoint 2019 administration and updating
· Exceptional Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to learn on the job
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to analyze, articulate and implement solutions
· Minimum 10 years of experience
· Preferred Associates Degree in IT or closely related field of study
· Minimum 5 years of experience using VMWare using enterprise environment
· Preferred Certifications: Microsoft MCSA: Windows 10, Cisco CCNA or Network +
