The ERM Risk Policy Governance group drives a consistent and standardized set of governance, principles, and requirements to lead effective enterprise-wide risk management across Citi through setting overall frameworks and policies; connecting Risk Frameworks, aligning policies to frameworks; assessing adherence and effectiveness; enabling risk management mindset, running approval forums (RPAG, RPAC) for new and amended policy documents. The Strategic Initiatives for ERM RiskFramework and Policy role drives various initiatives across the Framework, Policy, and Strategic Alignment Teams. This Strategic Initiatives role supports the ERM Risk Framework and Policy Team and is directly accountable for managing technology initiatives to support policy management, policy alignment to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Lines of Defense (LOD), and Policy Adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Design and drive the oversight processes to support high visibility initiatives across risk management.
- Lead the communication strategy for the team and plan appropriately on synthesizing information across various channels including training, teach-ins, newsletters and website content, and executive management and board presentations.
- Create analytics from available data and metrics in to generate and drive discussions with stakeholders, influence outcomes and maintain an effective risk management framework.
- Establish and manage processes and controls to ensure sustainability of the oversight model, including but not limited to monitoring and reporting metrics.
- Manage and support regulatory and audit reviews inclusive of closure wrappers.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to influence and provide updates to a wide range of internal audiences including business stakeholders and ERM Transformation team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive years of experience in financial services and risk management required, with relevant experience leading high visibility projects.
- Knowledge and interest in capital markets, and keeping abreast of regulation, business initiatives and macroeconomic developments.
- Solid early problem recognition skills - the ability to identify and clearly communicate on proactive basis.
- Experience with managing multiple high priority deliverables with attention to detail.
- Proven analytic and negotiation skills.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor's degree or University degree or equivalent experience
- Technical Skills: JIRA, PTS, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Word, Adobe
