Job Summary:
The Sustainability Intern is responsible for conducting research relating to corporate sustainability initiatives, drafting standard operating procedures for launching sustainable products, and learning about the emerging sustainability trends in the promotional product industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as advised by the Compliance Manager;
- Assist with emissions measurement and tracking;
- Assist with validating Environmental/Green product claims and other marketing and advertising claims related to sustainable products;
- Prepare documentation for sustainability audits;
- Work with the compliance team to support ongoing projects;
- Conduct research as needed on sustainability topics; and
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be pursuing a degree or certification in Sustainability or related field;
- At least 18 years of age or older;
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; moderate Excel skills a plus;
- Reliable mode of transportation; and
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
