SalaryResult Statement: To use your knowledge of digital drafting and survey data processing software to help the Survey Consultants conduct land surveys and to create beautiful, accurate, and complete Land Survey Maps.
Regular Hours: Flexible Hours M – F, between 8:00AM – 2:00 PM (10 Hours Per Week)
Location: Remote
Salary: $75 / Hour (Billable Time)
Desired Technical Abilities:
● Five years or more of digital drafting experience on surveying projects.
● Experience with various surveying software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Office, and/or Pix4D Mapper, among others.

● A desire for the objective truth and the ability to communicate well
● The ability to work under deadlines
● The ability to receive criticism from other professionals while maintaining your composure and positive attitude
Key Results Area #1: Create Working Sketches
· Plot title reports, deeds, easements, leases, and boundary line agreements and other record conveyances in a digital drafting format
· Overlay survey maps, plats, and other graphic documents in a digital drafting format
· Generate point search files to assist the field crew in their search for physical evidence
Key Results Area #2: Process Survey Data
· Process conventional and GNSS terrestrial data
· Process terrestrial LIDAR data
· Process UAS aerial data
· Process bathymetric survey data
Key Results Area #3: Generate Survey Maps
· Create survey maps that exceed state minimum standards
· Create survey maps that follow NLC procedures,
· Create survey maps that fully explain the facts, methodology, and results of our work
Key Results Area #4: Promote NLC Expert Services
● Conduct at least one full-day continuing education course per year
● Represent the best interests of NLC, Inc. in all internal and external communications
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
