Duties:
- Create electrical drawings, advance bills of material, and other engineering documents for projects as assigned, based on project documents and standards
- Make job site visits to get field information, as assigned
- Work on projects at the direction of the Operations Engineer and/or VP of Engineering
- Assist Sales and Estimating as needed with design plans
- Work with Engineers and technicians to solve problems when errors are made in the drafting room and in the shop
- Assist Project Managers
- Responsible for maintaining all documentation pertaining to the electrical drawing of their projects and saving the documents in the Engineering job folder
- Work with Senior Automation Technicians and Engineers to develop electrical schematics
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred enrollment in a two or four-year accredited design and drafting program.
- Strong organizational, attention for detail, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Preferred proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, or other CAD software
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
